3rd class were very lucky recently to have a hugely important visit from Kieran and Lee from our local Fire Station. They spoke to the girls about fire safety in their homes and the importance of all households checking their smoke alarms each week on 'Testing Tuesday!' 💨💨
They displayed and demonstrated how the equipment works as well as describing their routine for getting in to uniform when the call comes in 🔔. They gave the girls an idea of 'A day in the life of a firefighter" and had plenty of fire safety tips to share. All inquisitive questions were answered and some girls then shared that they would love to take on the role of firefighter when they grow up! 👩🏼🚒👩🏾🚒👩🏻🚒👏 👏👏
Thank you so much for the visit!
