This year we embark on our ‘Gaelbhratach’ journey. The Gaelbhratach scheme supports and encourages schools to promote the Irish language. The overall aim encourages a culture of speaking Irish informally within the school community any beyond. This is a continuous scheme and develops year to year. A certificate will be awarded to schools at the end of year one and at the end of the second year, schools will receive the Gaelbhratach flag.
