First Class really enjoyed their Science Week activities.🌟😊❤️💙 We really enjoyed all the experiments we did in class and some of us have said that we will try these experiments at home also!🏠 In our experiments we successfully pushed through sharp and pointy pencils ✏️✏️✏️through a bag that was filled with water. 💧🌟✨️💧What was amazing was that despite the pencils piercing the bag, no water escaped! 👏👏 We arranged skittles on a plate and were amazed at the rainbow of colours that appeared when water was added. 🌈 🌈 Despite lots of stirring we saw that oil and water never mix and that the oil rises to the top!!! ✨️🎊 We enjoyed the experiment where we proved that soap is needed to remove germs!
Also as part of our Science Week activities, we enjoyed watching a video where Dale Treadwell showing us some amazing triangles!!! 🔺️ 🔼 🔺️ We even got to make our own amazing triangles as well as other 2-D and 3-D shapes. What an amazing week First Class had for Science Week!! ✨️🌟✨️🌟✨️ ... See MoreSee Less

What great fun we had last week in 3rd class for science week. From bubbling lava lamps, to layering liquids, to learning about the importance of bone health through an exciting stem experiment from Avonmore, it was action packed! 🧫🥼🧪 We finished the week being engineers, trying to design structures as tall and as wide as possible using spaghetti and marshmallows! There was alot of testing, problem solving and team work involved in those structures! Well done girls. Budding scientists. 🥼#ScienceWeek2022#STEM... See MoreSee Less
