What's Happening in our school?
A huge well done to all our pupils who took part in the Tipperary Primary Schools Indoor Athletics competition yesterday. Congratulations to our 6th class pupil Adelina on winning 2 silver medals in the long jump and 60m sprint and also to fellow 6th class pupil Maria, who won silver in the 400m race. Thanks to @nenagholympic AC on a superbly organised day.
Today our 4th Class students became engineers!! 🎉
Using recycled toilet roll tubes, teamwork, creativity and lots of problem-solving, the children designed and built their own marble runs. They explored ideas around gravity, speed, force and design while testing, improving and rebuilding their creations.
There was fantastic teamwork, perseverance and creativity on display throughout the classroom — and plenty of excitement when the marble finally made it to the finish line! 🎉
We are so proud of the effort and enthusiasm shown by everyone. Future engineers in the making! 🚀🛠️

Congratulations to the 6th Class pupils of St Mary’s on making their Confirmation today. It was a very meaningful and reverent ceremony, reflecting the preparation and care shown by the children.
Sincere thanks to the families, parents, teachers, the parish team, Bishop Fintan, and the school team for all their work in making the day so special. Thanks also to our fantastic school choir for their lovely singing, which added beautifully to the ceremony.
Well done to all involved. We hope the confirmation candidates enjoy celebrating this special occasion with family and friends.
5th Class have been learning all about Wood Technology at Nenagh College over the last 3 weeks. They have learned all about the tools used in woodwork such as mallets, vice, dowels, pillar drills and sanding machines. They made candle holders, letter stands and hanging key holders and had such a great hands on experience. Thanks to Nenagh College teachers Mr Brian Quinn and Mr Mikey Heffernan for inspiring and guiding our students. They loved their Wood Tech experience😁
A huge thank you to Nenagh College for generously allowing us use of their fantastic Astro Turf pitch as we prepare for the upcoming Munster Soccer Finals in Cahir Park AFC on May 7th ⚽️🙌🏽
The girls had a brilliant session and were especially delighted with the complimentary water afterwards 😎— a lovely touch that was very much appreciated!
